Infiniti will soon pull out of New Zealand, following a similar decision to exit the Australian market.

Locally, Infiniti is handled by Global Motors New Zealand, which is also responsible for Renault. According to Infiniti NZ general manager, Sam Waller, the current distribution agreement will not be renewed in late 2020. “Our top priority at present is to ensure all existing Infiniti owners can continue to enjoy the levels of support and service they currently receive for their vehicles”.

So far, no decisions have been made over when sales will end. New stock can still be ordered so if you want that Q60, best get in quick, although you’ll have to pick it up from Auckland or Christchurch.

Infiniti said that it wanted to focus more on the North American and Chinese markets.
