Honda recently revealed its first fully-electric production car at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Now, the big H has confirmed its European starting price.

The base Honda e will feature a 35.5kWh battery pack, good for 100kW and a maximum range of 220km. A more powerful version with 113kw will also be available, which gets added extras like heated front seats/steering wheel and Honda’s Parking Pilot system. All models will be rear-wheel-drive, which should make for some sprightly driving.

As for price, Honda will sell you a no-frills car for €33,470 ($NZ57,354). If you want that quicker version, tack on another €3,000 ($5.1k). Remember, that’s a direct conversion so it’s only really good for a ballpark figure. Hopefully, we’ll get local details soon. Maybe it’ll arrive in time for that EV feebate?
