De Tomaso, builder of the iconic Pantera from 1971 until 1992, has lain dormant for quite some time. In fact, you’d be forgiven for thinking the brand was consigned to the pages of history. However, this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed will be where the brand kicks back into life.

All we know thus far is that the new De Tomaso model is currently known as ‘Project P’ and it’s being built by the same team that helped revitalise Apollo and constructed the awesome Intensa Emozione.

Other details are non-existent, with the press release largely consisting of company suits waxing lyrical about Alejandro De Tomaso and his journey. We’ll learn more about Project P in the upcoming weeks, before the car is revealed on July 4 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
