Civic hatch range facelifted for 2020
Honda New Zealand has updated its tenth-generation Civic Hatch for 2020, with some exterior and interior upgrades, while the RS Sport model returns, flush with Honda Sensing Safety technology which includes lane departure warning and lane keeping, adaptive cruise, AEB, road departure mitigation and auto headlight dipping.
It also comes with new 18-inch alloys fitted with 235/40ZR18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 rubber. The Civic SX variant also features new alloys, rear privacy glass and a Shark Grey colour.
Other styling updates include a revised bumpers and fresh ‘wing’ grille design. The RS sports a new rear diffuser, bookending the centre exit exhaust like that of the Type R, and a new Phoenix Orange pearlescent paint colour. Inside, there are updates to the instruments and seat trims, while the touchscreen at long last adds hard keys for commonly used functions, including a dedicated volume control. Bout time. There are also push buttons for easier climate control adjustments.
The new Honda Civic Hatch range kicks off at $32,990+ORC for the SX grade while the RS Sport Sensing remains at the same $41,990+ORC price as the former RS.
