More style and choice for Citroen C3
Citroen has restyled its C3. The front end has been revamped, picking up a new ‘brand signature’ which was inspired by the CXPERIENCE Concept from 2016.
Nah, we can’t quite remember that one either. It’s intended to give the C3 a ‘bold, raised look’ by ‘accentuating the perception of the height of the bonnet’. The chevrons extend to the LED daytime running lights to highlight width while there are new coloured inserts around the fog lights.
The C3 now gets LED headlights, and fresh 17-inch alloys while those quirky Airbumps have been restyled. Also tweaked are the wheel arch extensions and the three-quarter panels.
The new C3's customisation range now extends to 97 colour combinations thanks to a wide choice of coordinated styling packs to mix and match the roof and body paints.
Additional equipment includes front parking sensors and improved connected services while Citroen has fitted its ‘Advanced Comfort’ seats from the C4 Cactus. A ‘Techwood’ interior trim slaps faux-wood detailing to the dashboard.
There are no chassis or powertrain tweaks for the makeover however. We would expect to see the revised C3 later in the year.
