Classic Car Auctions will be hosting their first virtual sale this weekend, with an inventory list that includes several celebrity-owned cars.

This includes Rowan Atkinson’s 1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E, which is being offered with No Reserve. Draped in Nautic Blue, the car was new to Japan and arrived in the UK in late 2015. It comes with a full history while the woodwork and seats have also been refurbished.

Another car set to go under the hammer is a 1972 BMW 1602 owned by Jay Kay. The Jamiroquai frontman bought the car with 22,000 miles on the clock, and was the car he learned to drive in. After selling it to a band member, he bought it back ten years ago. His 1976 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow will also be open for bids and is expected to sell for an estimated $NZ65,000.

Muscle cars are also on offer. One notable example is an original 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS previously owned by TV personality and Wheeler Dealers presenter, Mike Brewer. The Camaro has been completely rebuilt and refurbished, with Brewer having spent $NZ81,000 restoring the car, and is touted as being one of the best examples available in the UK.

Not that there’s any shortage of rare, prestigious cars on offer. Other notable lots include a 1951 Jaguar XK120 roadster, the super-rare 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale, and a 1966 Jaguar E-Type 2+2 coupe.
