BMW drivers voted worst on the road
A new survey has found that BMW drivers are Britain’s rudest road users.
Just over one-half polled reckoned people who drive a BMW M3 are “inconsiderate,” according to Yahoo News. Range Rover owners were voted second-worst (48 per cent) while those with the keys to an Audi TT took the final podium step on 43 per cent.
Around 2000 drivers were surveyed to mark the launch of a new television show, ‘Yianni: Supercar Customiser’. Rounding out the top ten vehicles with the rudest drivers were the Volkswagen Golf, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Ford Transit, Porsche 911 and the Nissan Qashqai. Vauxhall users were also frowned upon, with both Corsa and Astra drivers rated amongst the worst.
At the other end of the spectrum, Mini drivers were named the most considerate according to 35 per cent of those surveyed. Ford Fiesta and Focus drivers also had a good image, each garnering 32 percent of the positive votes. Other well-regarded models included the Toyota Yaris, the Fiat 500, VW’s Polo and the Renault Clio.
