Toyota New Zealand has revealed pricing for the recently-updated HiLux models, which are set to arrive early next year.
Pricing for models such as the wide-track SR Cruiser, GR Sport, and all-electric HiLux aren’t included as they are set to join the local line-up at a later date.

While lower spec ute have seemingly been hit with price increases, higher spec and hybrid-powered HiLux’s are cheaper in some cases.
Starting at $49,990, the two-wheel drive HiLux PreRunner SR Double Cab represents the entry point to the range. Unlike the outgoing model, this seems to be the only two-wheel drive HiLux offered at this stage.
The four-wheel drive range starts with the automatic SR Single Cab/Chassis at $50,990, and jumps to $52,490 for those that want this ute with a manual transmission.
The automatic HiLux Hybrid SR Double Cab/Chassis represents the entry-point of the hybrid range, starting at $54,990.

The hybrid-powered SR5 Limited Double Cab and Adventure Double Cab models top out the range for the time being, starting at $62,990 and $63,990 respectively.
As well as being cheaper in some cases, it also looks like fuel economy from the 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine has been improved across the range. Where figures used to be as high as 9.2l/100km, the highest figure for this updated model is now 8.5l/100km.
